About this role

As a Trust & Safety Specialist at Archive, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our platform safe, compliant, and customer-first. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving safety risks, reviewing flagged content or users, managing reports of abuse or prohibited behavior, and partnering with CX, Product, and Engineering to build a trusted environment for buyers, sellers, and brands. If you thrive in pattern detection, policy enforcement, and impact-driven decision-making, this role is for you.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and investigate flagged users, listings, and transactions for potential abuse, fraud, or policy violations

  • Review and action user reports related to prohibited items, harassment, impersonation, or policy breaches

  • Moderate platform content for compliance with Archive's marketplace policies and brand-specific guidelines

  • Respond to all Chargebacks and Maintain high win rates.

  • Flag Trends to CX Management

  • Maintain accurate data and documentation for each incident

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to recommend tooling improvements for abuse prevention

  • Stay informed on industry best practices and evolving T&S risks within resale, marketplaces, and eCommerce

  • Communicate directly with users(Buyers and sellers) on decisions made

Requirements
  • 2+ years experience in Trust & Safety, Content Moderation, or Marketplace Operations

  • Excellent judgment and attention to detail in reviewing sensitive content

  • Strong written communication and incident documentation skills

  • Experience using Trust tooling or platforms (e.g. Zendesk, Riskified, Stripe)

  • Ability to balance enforcement with empathy and overall business risk in user-facing decisions

  • Comfortable handling ambiguous, fast-changing environments

This position is classified as non-exempt and is compensated at $20–$23 per hour. The scheduled work hours Monday - Friday 9am-6pm EST

Compensation varies based on a variety of factors which include (but aren’t limited to) role level, skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay all employees are eligible for a full benefits package including employee and dependent healthcare and 401(k) enrollment. Our team of over 50 employees is currently remote-first, with an office in NYC and optional in-person work for those located in the area.
