About Hanover Park

We're building the AI-native ERP that will define private markets infrastructure. This isn't an AI wrapper slapped onto legacy software — we built a proprietary general ledger accounting system from the ground up, designed specifically for complex investment firms. As the system of record, we've earned the trust to bundle fund administration with tools that were previously fragmented: investor portals, AI-powered portfolio management, KPI collection, and more.

With AI, context is king. And Hanover Park has all the context on our customers.

In under a year, we've scaled to over $15 billion in assets under administration, serving investment firms and LPs that include top-5 banks and major endowments. We're backed by Emergence Capital (first investor in Salesforce and Zoom), Susa Ventures (first investor in Robinhood and Flexport), and Lux Capital.

Stripe for payments. Ramp for expenses. Hanover Park for investments.

About the role

Capital calls, distributions, and wire transfers are zero-error-tolerance workflows. You'll be the financial control layer for some of the most sophisticated investment firms in the country — and you'll do it at a company that's actively automating the most painful parts of your job. This isn't a role where you inherit a legacy playbook and execute it indefinitely. You'll help document, streamline, and eventually automate the treasury processes that keep our clients' capital moving accurately and on time. You'll work closely with our fund accounting and engineering teams to make sure the operational infrastructure keeps pace with our growth.

What you'll work on
  • Process and own the full range of money movement workflows — capital calls, distributions, investment wires, bill payments, intercompany payables/reimbursements, and management fee payments, ensuring that they are processed accurately and on time

  • Serve as the operational control layer, catching errors before they reach the client

  • Reconcile cash positions daily and maintain current, accurate records

  • Partner with engineering to document and systematize treasury processes

  • Identify and surface automation opportunities to reduce manual intervention

  • Support fund accounting leadership on client escalations when needed

  • Own treasury approval workflows — helping migrate approvals out of ad hoc channels and into structured, auditable processes within the platform

What we're looking for

Must-haves

  • Hands-on experience processing wire transfers and capital call/distribution workflows

  • Extreme attention to detail — you catch errors before anyone else does

  • Ability to work quickly under deadline pressure without sacrificing accuracy

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience at a fund administrator, PE/VC back office, or bank treasury team

  • Familiarity with fund accounting platforms

  • Understanding of management fee and waterfall structures

This is not the role for you if:

  • You're comfortable letting errors slide until someone else catches them

  • You've only worked in highly manual, paper-based processes and have no interest in automation

  • Attention to detail isn't something people would use to describe you

Why join now

You'll help design the future of fund treasury ops — not just execute a legacy workflow. At Hanover Park, the most tedious parts of your job are exactly what we're building AI to eliminate. That means your time goes toward higher-judgment work, and your impact compounds as the platform scales.

The stakes are real. Errors have consequences for clients and their LPs. If that kind of accountability motivates rather than intimidates you, we should talk.
