About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Treasury Analyst who will support Treasury's mitigation and compliance of Model Risk and End User Computing Tools (EUCT).
Treasury at Wells Fargo is a dynamic team that is responsible for managing Wells Fargo's balance sheet including capital, liquidity, funding, and interest rate risk management. Treasury seeks to ensure Wells Fargo always maintains sufficient capital and liquidity resources to support growth in the Company's businesses, while also ensuring a satisfactory financial cushion exists to protect against unforeseen stresses in the economic environment or the Company's operations. Treasury also provides regulators, senior leaders, and the Board of Directors with key information to support risk management, financial performance management, and strategic planning.
In this role, you will:
  • Support Treasury Model Management team to meet all Model Risk Management Policy guidance, including providing reporting and analytics on model metrics, analyzing data to determine sources of risk, and implementing processes to create efficiencies.
  • Perform as a resource for Treasury Model Management to support model risk reporting to model owners and senior leaders.
  • Receive direction from leaders and develop the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with Model Governance, Corporate Risk Management, and Internal Audit teams
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and understanding of Treasury function, including Liquidity, ALM, Funding, and Capital planning
  • Experience with regulatory requirements surrounding the management of model risk, interest rate risk, liquidity, and capital
  • Experience assessing the adequacy of policies, procedures and processes (includes compliance and operational controls within a large complex organization)
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to a broad range of audiences
  • Ability to deliver multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment, prioritize tasks, learn quickly, provide superior customer service, and take on new challenges
