About the Role

The Starknet Foundation is redefining the future of finance, and we need a Treasurer to help steer our financial strategy. If you have deep expertise in treasury management and a passion for digital assets, this is an opportunity to shape the financial backbone of a cutting-edge blockchain ecosystem.

This is more than just managing cash flow—it’s about optimising liquidity, driving investment strategies, and safeguarding digital and fiat assets in a rapidly evolving landscape. You’ll work closely with leadership to ensure financial stability, manage risk, and help future-proof the Foundation’s treasury operations.

How You Can Make an Impact

Liquidity & Cash Flow Management

○ Develop and implement cash flow strategies to ensure financial flexibility.

○ Monitor and forecast short-term and long-term liquidity needs.

○ Optimise working capital and fund allocation for efficiency.

Investment & Asset Management

○ Oversee investment strategies for both digital and fiat assets.

○ Manage relationships with banks, custodians, and investment partners.

○ Ensure the secure custody of digital assets, following best industry practices.

Financial Risk Management

○ Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including FX exposure and digital asset volatility.

○ Develop risk mitigation strategies to protect and optimise assets.

Treasury Operations & Governance

○ Implement internal controls to safeguard treasury functions.

○ Ensure compliance with Cayman Islands financial regulations and global industry standards.

○ Monitor market trends and advise leadership on financial implications.

Stakeholder Relations & Reporting

○ Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and auditors.

○ Prepare and present treasury reports for the Board and senior management.

Who You Are

○ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; CFA, CTP, or equivalent certification preferred.

○ 7+ years of experience in treasury, asset management, or financial risk management.

○ Strong background in digital asset treasury, DeFi, or blockchain finance.

○ Deep understanding of financial instruments, liquidity management, and risk mitigation strategies.

○ Analytical mindset with strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

○ Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
