As a Transaction Coordinator, you will work on the team that oversees all details throughout the real estate transaction process. Our Transaction team members are experienced in real estate and serve as the first point of contact for all parties involved. From document review for compliance to deadline tracking to timely completion of all commission processing, your goal is to make life easier for agents and clients every step of the way. 

Please Note - This position will require you to be in the local office 2x per month

At Compass You Will:

  • Process commission payments to agents, while tracking referral payments and agent deductions
  • Navigate company systems to validate accuracy of compliance and commission records
  • Work closely with accounting to review and audit commission records in the accounting system
  • Provide support to agents in response to inquiries regarding commission payouts, deductions, commission calculations, compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with sales managers and other support teams to offer outstanding support to the agents
  • Partner with the Accounting team to research and respond to commissions inquiries impacting the monthly financial statement close
  • Handle document tracking for a large volume of real estate transactions from listing to close, and/or contract to close, ensuring compliance with brokerage and legal requirements 
  • Collaborate with the Product & Engineering Team to help us build a better real estate transaction system

What We're Looking For:

  • NC Real Estate License Required
  • 5+ years of real estate activity in this market
  • Strong knowledge of the real estate laws in DC, MD, VA, NC and familiarity with standard real estate forms used in NC
  • In-depth knowledge of Real Estate Transaction Coordination and Compliance
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of agent’s contract data
  • Ability to digest detailed contracts and make informed decisions based on content
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer service-oriented personality
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail and solid customer service instincts
  • Be comfortable with new system rollouts
  • DocuSign, Google Suite, CTM
  • B.A. or B.S. degree preferred

The base pay range for this position is $29.00 - $32.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.
