Job Location:  Remote US/USA

SUMMARY:

As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for training new hires and providing introduction to VSN team structure and workflow processes. Performs training needs assessment and creates new training modules as needed or requested by functional leaders. Manages onsite trainings for colleagues at customer sites.

What You’ll Do:

  • New Hire Training & Onboarding:
    • Welcome new hires with prepared onboarding kits and an office tour (for non-remote employees). 
    • Provide necessary technical assistance to new hires to setup hardware and software.
    • Create the new hire curriculum and consistent training programs for all employees. 
    • Give overview of software platform (i.e. D365 & Mastermind). 
    • Assign additional Vector Learn trainings to employees for soft skills and technical skills reinforcement. 
    • Review new hire feedback after 30days and determine if additional training is needed. 
  • Needs Assessment & Developing Training Programs: 
    • Conduct needs assessment and create or assign trainings every month. 
    • Provide instructor-led training and ensure courses are added to Vector Learn. 
    • Run Vector Learn reports to determine completion progress and publish results.
    • Follow-up with employees for required courses assigned and ensure timely completion. 
    • Draft, update, and organize D365 trainings and documents. 
    • Organize and manage customer site visits and perform necessary administrative functions. 
    • Coordinate with vendors and identify training needs and draft training programs for employees. 
    • Compile, update, and disseminate QA reporting. 

What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred. 
  • 2 Years Training Experience - Mentoring, Virtual & Classroom Training.
  • 2 Years Industry Related Experience - Customer Service Experience/Call Center Experience. 
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills:  Ability to deliver the training curriculum and receive feedback.
  • Experience with creating training curriculum:  Skills in preparing instructional aids and plans. 
  • Computer Proficiency:  PowerPoint and recording software, Excel and Microsoft Office.
