Training Facilitator – Enterprise Software Implementation

At ELB Learning, you'll become part of a team delivering impactful training and technology implementation programs for organizations around the world.

Location: Remote, with domestic and international travel
Engagement Period: January–August 2027 delivery, with required onboarding and Train-the-Trainer activities in late 2026
Travel: Approximately 20%, including potential multi-week international assignments
Employment Classification: To be confirmed

About the Role

ELB Learning is seeking experienced Training Facilitators to support a large-scale federal enterprise technology implementation. The program will transition approximately 25,000 users to a new Construction Management Platform through more than 1,700 instructor-led training sessions.

Facilitators will initially deliver four courses, with opportunities to support additional courses and assignments as the program progresses. Learners will include executives, project managers, engineers, general users, and external contractors.

This is a technical software training role, not a general soft-skills facilitation position. You will learn a specific enterprise platform and teach users how to navigate its functionality and apply it effectively in their day-to-day work.

Prior experience with the specific platform is not required. However, you should have a strong background in adult training and be comfortable learning new software and explaining technical processes to diverse audiences.

Schedule, Training and Travel
  • Onboarding and Train-the-Trainer: First Train-the-Trainer cohort scheduled for the first week of December in Kansas City, Missouri. A second cohort is planned for January 2027.

  • Domestic delivery: Begins January 2027.

  • International delivery: March–August 2027.

  • Travel expectation: Approximately 20% of the assignment, with training delivered primarily virtually and some domestic and international in-person sessions.

  • International assignments: May involve multi-week rotations rather than individual short trips.

Candidates must have a valid passport and be able to meet applicable installation and site-access requirements.

What You'll Do
  • Deliver instructor-led software training virtually and in person to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Demonstrate how to navigate and use enterprise software functionality.

  • Lead hands-on exercises, guided activities, and software walkthroughs.

  • Answer learner questions and troubleshoot issues during training.

  • Prepare for sessions by reviewing facilitator guides, lesson plans, and training environments.

  • Follow approved training materials and standards while adapting delivery to different audiences.

  • Track attendance and support completion, evaluation, and reporting requirements.

  • Complete required Train-the-Trainer activities and maintain up-to-date platform knowledge.

  • Support additional training waves, schedule changes, and backup assignments as needed.

  • Build sufficient platform knowledge to confidently respond to learner questions, including those that arise outside the scripted material.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following qualification pathways:

Option 1: Professional Certification and Experience

  • A professional adult-learning or training certification, such as CPTM, CPTD, or an equivalent credential.

  • At least three years of experience delivering adult training.

Option 2: Demonstrated Training Experience

  • At least five years of experience facilitating adult training.

  • A demonstrated record of effectiveness supported by documented evaluations, learner feedback, performance metrics, or other measurable results.

Preferred Experience
  • Training users on enterprise software, business applications, or technology platforms.

  • Supporting software implementations, system rollouts, or organizational technology transformations.

  • Experience with Construction Management Platforms or other construction-related enterprise software.

  • Familiarity with construction, engineering, project management, or architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) environments.

  • Experience supporting federal, government, or large enterprise clients.

  • Virtual facilitation using Microsoft Teams, including screen sharing, breakout rooms, polls, and interactive activities.

  • Experience training diverse audiences, from executives and project managers to technical users and external contractors.

  • Experience handling learner questions and troubleshooting software-related issues in a live training environment.

What Makes You a Strong Fit?

You are someone who can learn complex software quickly, explain it clearly, and help users feel confident applying it in their work.

You should be able to:

  • Learn and retain new software functionality quickly.

  • Break down technical concepts into clear, practical instructions.

  • Deliver structured training while responding naturally to questions and unexpected situations.

  • Engage learners in both virtual and in-person environments.

  • Adapt your delivery to different levels of technical knowledge without losing sight of the approved curriculum.

  • Work within a structured implementation program with changing schedules and training requirements.

  • Travel domestically and internationally as required, including multi-week assignments when scheduled.

Selection Process

Candidates will participate in an initial conversation with ELB Learning. Those progressing through the process will be asked to submit a one-minute mockup video demonstrating their ability to explain a software feature or process clearly. The video will be submitted to the client for final approval.

Further details about the recording and submission process will be provided to candidates.

Important Notes

This is a software training role, not a train-the-trainer development position or a general soft-skills facilitation assignment.

You will receive training on the specific platform and complete the required Train-the-Trainer program. Previous experience with the platform is not required; what matters is your ability to learn a new system quickly and confidently teach others how to use it.

The engagement is expected to run from January through August 2027, with onboarding and Train-the-Trainer activities taking place beforehand.
