Job Description
IDS is seeking a Training Director II to lead the planning, development, coordination, and execution of cyber training programs in support of mission requirements. The selected candidate will work closely with leadership, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to identify training needs, establish learning objectives, and ensure effective delivery of training across cyber and multidomain environments. This position requires experience managing personnel, overseeing cyber training activities, and supporting realistic training scenarios within cyber range and test bed environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cyber operations, training development processes, and the technologies required to support advanced training exercises.
Key Duties
• Lead the planning, development, and execution of cyber training programs and events.
• Collaborate with leadership and subject matter experts to identify training requirements and develop effective training objectives.
• Supervise personnel involved in training development and delivery activities.
• Support Army and Joint Cyber Training exercises and training events.
• Develop and coordinate training schedules, materials, and resources.
• Oversee training activities conducted within cyber range and computer test bed environments.
• Ensure training objectives align with mission and operational requirements.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to training programs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to support the execution of training scenarios and exercises.
• Support the integration of OT/IT technologies, networking, cellular systems, and IT infrastructure into training environments.
• Assist in the development of realistic operational scenarios to support cyber training objectives.
• Provide reports, recommendations, and updates regarding training activities and outcomes.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in cyber range or computer test bed environments.
• Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience conducting Army and Joint Cyber Training.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with leadership teams and subject matter experts to identify training needs and create effective training objectives.
• Working knowledge of OT/IT technologies, cellular systems, networking, and IT management and implementation for training scenarios.
