This is a U.S.-based remote position. San Francisco Bay Area employees are highly encouraged to come into the office one day a week.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist with trail data integrity initiatives to ensure the ongoing accuracy of our trail data in Germany
- Self-pilot through each project (or sprint) while working remotely
- Provide feedback on the quality of the product delivered to users in your assigned region
Requirements:
- Fluent in German & English, with strong writing and communication skills
- Knowledgeable about trails, hiking & outdoor culture in Germany
- Available for 25-30 hours per week and able to meet project deadlines
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to focus for long stretches at a time on a single task
- Self-motivation and a deep sense of pride in your work
- Curiosity, humility, empathy, and open-mindedness
- Passion about mobile technologies and AllTrails’ mission to connect people to the outdoors
- Ability to connect with business partners as needed and for biweekly meetings
- Reliable internet connection and hardware that meets the company’s IT security standards (the company will require you to install read-only OSQuery to ensure hard-drive encryption and antivirus software are enabled before access)
- AI Native: You naturally incorporate AI tools to enhance your work. You’re comfortable writing prompts, evaluating AI outputs, and enjoy experimenting with new ways to boost creativity, productivity, and decision-making
- Mapping/GIS experience
- Proven ability to quickly learn new technology and processes
- Fluent or proficient in any other additional languages
- Experience working remotely and as an independent contractor
