Responsibilities
- Execute and support daily trading activity across client portfolios.
- Oversee investment operations for multiple investment vehicles, including separately managed accounts (SMAs).
- Manage trade settlement, cash movements, account activity, and portfolio rebalancing.
- Coordinate with custodians, brokers, counterparties, and external service providers to ensure seamless operational execution.
- Support operational due diligence requests and investor reporting initiatives.
- Monitor operational controls and identify opportunities to improve workflows and scalability.
- Partner closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and ongoing process enhancements.
- Assist with additional trading and operational responsibilities as the firm continues to grow.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in trading operations, investment operations, middle office, or a related function within asset management, hedge funds, family offices, or investment advisory firms.
- Experience supporting institutional investment products and/or separately managed accounts.
- Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, investment operations, and cash management.
- Equity trading experience required; familiarity with listed options is preferred but not required.
- Experience working with custodians, prime brokers, and other investment service providers.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting hedge funds and separately managed account platforms.
- Familiarity with order management and portfolio management systems.
- Experience participating in operational due diligence (ODD) meetings or institutional investor requests.
- Desire to grow into a broader leadership role as the organization continues to expand.
