As a Trading Book Product Owner Associate in the Firmwide Finance Business Architecture (FFBA) team, you will partner with stakeholders across various lines of business to understand products, data, and business requirements related to Finance and Risk applications. You will play a crucial role in managing infrastructure programs and business process changes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Job responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering to testing and deployment.
- Work within an Agile framework to write business requirements in the form of user stories to enhance data, reporting automation, and digital analytics toolsets.
- Engage with development teams to ensure business needs are translated into appropriate technical specifications and acceptance criteria are met.
- Prioritize the backlog of user stories for delivery based on alignment with the schedule deployment plan.
- Collaborate with lines of business to understand their products, data capture methods, and strategic data sourcing into a cloud-based big data architecture.
- Partner with Implementation leads, Release managers, Project managers, and other data SMEs to understand various Lines of Business and asset class data and source system flows as they relate to Finance and Risk applications and infrastructure.
- Handle other ad-hoc requests as assigned.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
- Good knowledge of accounting, financial statements and products
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationship.
- Intermediate Excel & Presentation skills
- Intermediate SQL, Databricks, Data analytic & Visualization skills
- Energetic, self-motivated, and effective under pressure.
- Detail-oriented, highly responsible, and able to work with tight deadlines.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Previous Experience in financial services, project management and/or regulatory reporting is a plus).
- Previous strong experience in Product Control, Financial Control, Product Owner/Business Analyst/ Product Management
