As a Trade Compliance Analyst II here at Honeywell, you will play an essential role in ensuring that our company adheres to international trade regulations, facilitating smooth and compliant cross-border transactions. Your work will support Honeywell’s global operations by managing import and export documentation and assisting in the implementation of trade compliance policies.
You will you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact Honeywell’s ability to maintain regulatory compliance, reduce risks associated with trade violations, and support the seamless movement of goods worldwide.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist in the development and implementation of trade compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to import and export regulations.
- Manage and oversee import and export documentation, including classification, licensing, and customs documentation.
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and support corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on trade compliance matters, including training and awareness programs.
- Stay updated with changes in trade regulations and communicate the impact to the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve trade compliance issues and mitigate risks.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Experience in trade compliance, preferably within a multinational company environment.
- Strong knowledge of import and export regulations, including customs laws, export controls, and sanctions.
- Proficiency in managing trade compliance programs, including classification, licensing, and compliance audits.
- Familiarity with trade compliance software and tools to support documentation and regulatory adherence.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex regulations and provide practical compliance solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in trade compliance or related roles.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate and timely compliance.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to achieve compliance goals.
- Adaptability to changing regulations and eagerness to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
