Job Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:

  • Maintain tooling Quality STD's and Preventative/ Predictive Maintenance program to insure compliance with QS9000 Requirements.
  • Maintain production standards to ensure parts are produced to schedule
  • Assure that Drive's and Customers' quality standards are being met
  • Troubleshoot for problems during production.
  • Coordinate engineer changes, station studies, CMM studies, and overtime schedules.
  • Assist Area Manager in achieving KOI targets.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:

  • Applicable technical degree with DOL certified 4-year apprenticeship and Journeyman Card


WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING:

  • Must have a minimum of 7 years experience with assembly tooling with minimum 5 years of specializing with new assembly tool construction and robot tooling.
  • Tool and Die Maker with related experience/familiar with assembly tooling work.
  • Good hand dexterity, mechanical skills, mathematical skills and organizational skills.
  • Hemming die or clinch tool experience is a must
  • Metrology experience is required including exposure to and using master-buck tooling.
  • Needs to understand GD&T, CMM, Faro, Roma Arm, visual CMM reports, and be able to make sound decisions based on this data.

Pay range: $39.17 - $43.26 per hour
