ImpactAs a Tool Integration Engineer on the Self Serve Analytics team, you will be responsible for specializing in Segment and Amplitude. This team at Shipt is designed to accelerate data-driven decision making at Shipt, by robust reporting based on curated, trustworthy and validated data through various data tools. This role will focus on managing and optimizing these two platforms to help drive data-driven decisions across the organization.
Every day you will manage integration and configuration of Segment and Amplitude and monitor the health of data flow from Segment to various destinations, including Amplitude, to ensure accurate tracking and reporting. You will also be responsible for identifying areas for optimization to improve tool performance. As the dedicated Amplitude and Segment team resource, you will develop and maintain documentation for Segment and Amplitude setups, processes and best practices while also enforcing data governance protocols to ensure data consistency, accuracy and privacy compliance.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business).

2+ years of experience in managing or administering Segment, Amplitude, or similar analytics and data tools.

Experience with advanced features in Segment such as segmentation, event tracking, funnels, cohorts, etc.

Strong understanding of event-driven architectures, data pipelines, and analytics workflows.
Work Arrangement
Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader. Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis. Other compensation includes eligibility for an annual bonus and the potential for restricted stock units based on role.
Pay Range:
Metro Areas of Boston, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and New York City:
$75,900-$151,700
All other locations:
$63,100-$126,300
Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
