About the Role

Essity is looking for an experienced Territory Sales Specialist – Compression Solutions. Responsibilities include driving sales growth and market penetration of our pneumatic compression therapy & pain products within Ambulatory Surgery Centers in the South region. This role focuses on building strong relationships with healthcare providers, surgery centers, and hospital systems to promote our portfolio of DVT prevention and Post-Op pain pump recovery solutions. Additionally, the role includes recruiting, onboarding, and managing independent sales representatives to expand coverage and ensure alignment with company objectives.

This will be a remote position responsible for covering the South Region. The ideal candidate should be located within the aligned territory and have ability to travel often.

What You Will Do

  • Achieve or exceed sales targets for pneumatic compression therapy products in the assigned territory.

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans to capture market share.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and in-service training for clinical staff.

  • Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts, including hospitals, ASCs, and physician practices.

  • Provide ongoing support to ensure proper product usage and compliance.

  • Recruit, contract, and onboard independent sales representatives to enhance territory coverage.

  • Provide training, guidance, and performance oversight to ensure reps meet company standards.

  • Monitor and evaluate independent reps’ activities, offering support and corrective action as needed.

  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends to inform strategy.

  • Collaborate with marketing and clinical teams to develop territory-specific initiatives.

  • Manage CRM updates, sales reporting, and forecasting.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Who You Are

  • Four (4)-year college or university degree is preferred.

  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of medical sales experience, preference to Orthopedic space, with an abundance of prospecting, cold-calling and closing new business.

  • Familiarity and relationships with Ambulatory Surgery Centers and Orthopedic Surgeons and Operating Rooms

  • Working knowledge of health insurance billing, CMS codes, and ICD 10 

  • Possess clinical knowledge, knowledge of DVT and TJA 

  • Prior experience managing 1099 distributor networks

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to, Excel, Word and Outlook.

  • Ability to plan and organize time, schedules, and effective use of company resources.

  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems or customer contact database applications.

  • Proven problem-solving abilities and excellent people skills.

  • Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic.

  • Strong time and territory management skills are a must.

  • Must live in the assigned territory.

  • Valid US driver’s license and must meet Essity's Corporate Vehicle Policy Standards.

  • TRAVEL: Ability for up to 50% travel and overnights as needed.
