Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains a sales strategy within the territory to maximize success and effectiveness in meeting growth initiatives and targets through end user channels.
- Manages the overall sales functions of the business unit within the assigned territory in a manner that creates a competitive advantage, maximizes customer satisfaction, and optimizes return on investment for the business unit.
- Possesses a general understanding of the products or services provided by SSS and how they relate to overall operations and customers.
- Collaborates with both internal and customers for timely and accurate completion of quotations, projects, reports, accountability metrics and the completion of other goals
- Maintains good housekeeping standards and practices safety daily utilizing appropriate protective gear and adheres to Company procedures.
- Must strive to be punctual and maintain a high standard of attendance in the job.
- Participates as required in company sponsored training & maintains all required job training records.
- Responsible for following all SSS policies and procedures, including the employee manual and the Quality & HSE System.
- Perform any other duties as required
Qualifications:
· ABET accredited Engineering degree and/or 5-7 years of experience in Sales within the Sealing or Power Production industry.
· Experience in Technical Sales required
· Travel required 75% or exceeding.
· Must have motivational skills and managerial skills and a high sense of urgency to recognize equipment, process and industry opportunities in the market (develop networks)
· Experience with and enjoys networking within niche industry
· Interpersonal skills are critical for optimum communication with customers as well as internal SSS.
· Able to organize and prioritize work assignments.
· Must have a strong work ethic
· Must be able to work in a team, and to lead teams to ensure successful program implementation.
· Good written and verbal reporting skills
· Excellent computer application skills in MS Office products.
