RSM is seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to join our Technology Risk Consulting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing data visualization and interactive dashboards using Tableau software. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and updating dashboards, translating complex data into business insights, and maintaining data integrity.

In the Technology Risk Consulting Practice, our consultants help our clients with the design and optimization of controls utilizing a general knowledge of business processes, accounting, and information technologies by identifying and prioritizing risk and transforming their technology risk management and assurance capabilities to be aligned to the key risks and strategies of their organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau visualizations and dashboards.
• SQL – Hands-on proficiency in data sourcing and processing using SQL with data sources being Snowflake and legacy databases.
• Create Tableau reports and dashboards as well as integrate Tableau with various data sources for real-time reports and dashboards.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Conduct data analysis to draw business-relevant conclusions.
• Perform and document data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
• Perform detailed data exploration and validation from a variety of sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and prioritize functional requirements.
• Perform testing and data quality checks for Tableau dashboards.
• Ensure that documentation is compliant with quality standards of the firm.

Qualifications:

• Large financial institution experience is required
• Proficient in data sourcing and processing using SQL, with experience in Snowflake and legacy databases.
• Knowledgeable in the functionality and management of Snowflake databases.
• Skilled in creating Tableau reports and dashboards, with the ability to integrate Tableau with various data sources for real-time reporting and dashboards.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments for cards and deposits in the third line of defense is preferred but not required
• SAAS experienced strongly preferred but not required
• Familiar with single-family business operations, capital forecasting, and risk reporting preferred, but not required
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $40 - $60 per hour
