Job Description

A bit about this role:

As a Telesales Supervisor at Devoted Health, you will lead and develop a team of agents selling Medicare Advantage policies. We are looking for a high-energy leader who is as motivated by hitting a sales target as they are by the professional growth of their team.

Whether you come from Healthcare, Retail Leadership, High-Growth Startups, or High-Volume Sales, you are a coach at heart. Your number one priority is being in front of agents: live coaching, call shadowing, and providing the immediate feedback necessary to drive conversion while maintaining uncompromising quality standards.

Please note: 11 am-8 pm EST or 2 pm to 11 pm EST our the two schedules to choose from.

Your Responsibilities and Impact will include:

  • Drive Team Results: Lead a team of 15+ agents, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and mission-driven motivation.

  • Elite Coaching: Deliver real-time training to drive resilient sales results, ensuring a strict balance between high conversion and quality compliance.

  • Operational Oversight: Manage the team to achieve goals on phone service levels, call quality, outbound contacts, and sales targets.

  • Multi-Zone Leadership: Effectively manage remote and onsite teams across multiple time zones, navigating the "long ball" of a high-growth environment.

  • Continuous Improvement: Use data-driven insights to foster professional development and maintain peak team output during both peak and off-peak seasons.

  • Escalation Support: Handle customer escalation calls with empathy and efficiency to protect the member experience.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 1–2 years of experience supervising or managing a team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

  • A proven track record in a sales or customer-facing environment where hitting targets and "closing the deal" was a primary KPI.

  • Ability to deliver direct and timely feedback; you are comfortable addressing underperformance early to maintain a high-performing floor.

  • You have a 'compliance-first' reflex; you understand that hitting sales targets only matters if we are protecting our members and the organization through strict adherence to CMS regulations

  • Ability to acquire a state health insurance prior to your start date.

  • A natural "gut feel" for regulatory rules; you prioritize adherence as a reflex to protect the organization and the member.

  • Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets and able to use dashboards to quickly identify where your team needs the most coaching.

  • A strong problem-solver who thrives in change and can manage the "swing" between core seasons and high-pressure peak cycles.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in Healthcare and/or Medicare sales is highly preferred.

  • Experience building and delivering formal performance management and corrective action plans.

  • An "early adopter" mindset; a proactive interest in learning new software rather than viewing digital evolution as a hurdle.

  • Experience using CRM/Marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and contact-center tools.

  • Basic knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-assisted agent tools—specifically the ability to support adoption, create simple prompts, and train agents on safe, compliant use.
