Job Description

We’re looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented intern to support our Technical Engineering team over the summer. You’ll own three key projects that ensure our processes, documentation, and control systems are audit‑ready, standardized, and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Audit Preparation:
    • Collect, standardize, and organize all relocation‑related documentation (policies, authorizations, expense records).
    • Create a clear filing structure and index to streamline future audits.
  2. Cross‑Functional OPL Launch (Pineville):
    • Define scope, stakeholders, and success metrics for a new Open‑Point List (OPL) process‑stabilization rollout in our Pineville facility.
    • Coordinate and facilitate kickoff meetings, track action items, and deliver the initial OPL training materials.
  3. Control Plan Conversion to SOCOS:
    • Reformat 87 existing released control plans to meet SOCOS template requirements.
    • Submit reformatted plans for approval via WorkON, track sign‑off, and ensure final release in SOCOS.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business Management
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Comfortable coordinating across teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
