Hastings Deering (Australia) LtdWe’re looking for an experienced Technology Sales and Support Manager to join our Technology Services team. This role can be based in any of our Central Queensland or Brisbane branches and is a permanent role.
This role will be responsible for growing technology sales across the contractor and small miner segment. The successful incumbent will be accountable for identifying opportunities, converting them into sales, and building long‑term customer relationships aligned with Caterpillar technology objectives.
What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you will:
- Drive Technology sales growth across the contractor and small miner customer base
- Identify, develop and close new sales opportunities, including proactive cold calling
- Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships through trusted product support and advisory engagement
- Translate customer needs into practical technology solutions, working closely with internal teams and vendors
- Manage the end‑to‑end sales process, from opportunity identification through to delivery and support
- Support customer adoption and ongoing performance of technology solutions
- Contribute to sales forecasting, reporting and growth strategy execution
What you’ll need:
A successful teammate will have experience in:
- Background in account management and/or product support
- Proven ability to identify opportunities and convert them into successful sales outcomes
- Confidence engaging customers through cold calling and business development activities
- Strong relationship‑building capability with a focus on long‑term customer partnerships
- Commercial acumen with a results‑driven mindset
- Experience in mining technology or digital solutions is highly regarded
