Job Description:
The Data Center Services team is looking for a Technology Operations Specialist who will be responsible for Application Ownership, Change Request Administration, and Process Controls and Metrics support. The role could include application development work as well. This role is a part of a team whose functions include development, maintenance, and refinement of data center management tools; completion of risk assessments; providing metrics; and performance of quality assurance tasks for security controls and Hosting Locations governance. This is an individual contributor role.
This job is responsible for leading the planning, designing, and implementation of complex infrastructure solutions to meet deployment requirements aligned with available playbooks and technical blueprints. Key responsibilities include providing and communicating technology solutions across audiences and overseeing projects and activities related to special initiatives or operations. Job expectations include leading the resolution process for problems, adhering to defined practices and policies to obtain results, and establishing input/output processes and working parameters for systems. The job supports change implementations, proactively identifies and resolves potential issues resulting from the changes, and performs access and/or physical provisioning/deprovisioning (additions, modifications, and deletions) for infrastructure and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Development and Maintenance of Data Center and Critical Facility Management Tools, including AIT Ownership, Risk Vulnerability remediation and mitigation, and CRQ (change request) creation and execution
- Annual Execution of Facility and Proximity Risk Assessments
- Annual Refresh of Hosting Locations Standards and Procedures
- Hosting Locations Governance and Quality Control
- Records Retention Management
- Data Center Risk Oversight Forum Presentations
- Yearly / Quarterly Attestations (SOX, SSAE18)
- Risk Action Step Leadership (SIAI / AIAI)
- Security Controls Quality Assurance and Reporting
- Schedule adherence for annual refresh of controls and documentation
Required Qualifications
- 4 + years in technology with experience in Application Ownership, and Change Management/CRQ creation and execution, or 3 + years in software development, or 3 + years of experience with Nlyte Software Inventory Tool management
- Strong attention to detail, confident enough to raise questions and escalate when necessary
- Strong risk mindset with process and controls background
- Capable of identifying where inefficiencies exist and onboarding tools to automate and simplify complexity of the workflows
- Very strong time management skills and adaptability to address shifting priorities and tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple work streams simultaneously and respond to rapidly changing demands
- Communicate and interface effectively with all levels of staff and management
- Strong research and analysis and fact-based decision making
- Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs, and procedures
