Your Role.
As a Technology Lead at Fantasy, you’ll guide teams of engineers in creating exceptional digital products and experiences. You combine hands-on technical expertise with leadership—architecting, prototyping, and building alongside your team while ensuring high standards across every project.
You’ll collaborate closely with designers, strategists, and producers to transform creative ideas into tangible, elegant, and scalable solutions. You’ll also serve as a trusted technology partner for clients, helping define how technology can bring innovation to life and drive meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end technical delivery from discovery through launch, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with design, strategy, and production teams to define and execute technical direction.
• Contribute hands-on through coding, prototyping, architecture, and systems integration.
• Review engineering work, provide feedback, and champion best practices in development, testing, and deployment.
• Mentor engineers to strengthen technical skills, foster collaboration, and promote a culture of curiosity and inclusion.
• Partner with clients to clarify requirements, communicate technical strategies, and translate creative goals into actionable plans.
• Explore emerging technologies to inspire innovation and enhance Fantasy’s technical craft.
• Advocate for technology as a creative discipline, leading by example to deliver inspired, forward-looking solutions.
Experience and Skills
• 7–10 years of experience in software engineering or digital product development, ideally in creative, innovation, or design-driven environments.
• Proven success leading small to mid-sized engineering teams delivering complex, high-impact digital products.
• Strong technical foundation with expertise across modern front-end, back-end, and cloud technologies.
• Demonstrated experience architecting and building performant, scalable, and visually rich web or application experiences.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• Passion for design, craft, and the belief that technology can elevate creativity.
• Curiosity about emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and intelligent systems.
Nice to Have
• Advanced experience with WebGPU/WebGL, Three.js, Babylon.js, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, or Rive for immersive or interactive environments.
• Familiarity with GSAP, Framer Motion, or other animation frameworks.
• Understanding of creative coding, animation systems, and real-time rendering performance.
• Background at the intersection of design and technology, creating expressive and innovative experiences.
