The Technology Department at Dimensional leverages the rapidly evolving state of the art to engineer the platforms that power the innovative, research-driven financial and technical products to improve our client’s financial lives. As a member of the Technology team, you will have the opportunity to play a foundational role in team implementation and to collaborate closely with the business leaders to understand, guide, articulate and validate the development activities necessary to achieve the team’s vision. What you might work on:
The Corporate Systems team works with multiple Dimensional operational business departments (Finance & Accounting, Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, and Facilities) to provide technology solutions and services that meet their business objectives. This role is critical to ensuring IT alignment with the business through excellence in delivery and operations, creative and proactive problem solving, and consistent communication.
Responsibilities:

Act as technology liaison between business clients and the technology team. The first point of contact for complex needs, intaking requests and doing initial analysis to determine how to solve. Shepherding work through the IT department and ensuring final resolutions meet the clients’ needs.

Manage customer experience and expectations. Conduct meetings with business leaders and facilitate prioritization discussions.

Act as lifecycle manager for several vendor provided products, integrations, and low code/no code services and products, including:
-
Routine maintenance and change management support for products in the Corporate Systems area.

License management, product updates, troubleshooting, and prompt issue resolution.
-
Either directly or through support by others in technology, access management, data integrations and transformations, custom configurations, and infrastructure services are implemented and maintained.

Develop and maintain runbooks and training guides, communication plans, and system documentation.
-
Write requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for engineers. Providing feedback to developers during development and be responsible for initial testing and coordination of UAT.

Actively manage multiple concurrent projects of varying sizes and complexity
-
Coordinate, author, and lead work efforts with various technology staff for implementations, upgrades, fixes, and changes.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate for this position will be analytical and detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task and problem solve across multiple requests. Able to work closely with business partners and technology teams to solve complex problems and successfully operate with ambiguity.

5+ years of hands-on experience in a technical capacity as business analyst, technical project manager, technology specialist or similar role.

Prioritization and organizational skills, including the ability to maintain several concurrent initiatives while providing realistic delivery dates and managing client expectations
-
Requirements elicitation, user story development, use case analysis, testing plans, and UAT coordination.
-
Extensive experience with SDLC processes including code development, data flows, devops and testing.
-
Ability to map out and follow complex technology processes and system interactions.
-
Technology vendor management or product lifecycle management
-
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment without direct oversight.

Microsoft Power Platform experience
-
Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
Preferred Competencies:
-
Bachelor's degree in business administration, management information systems, computer science, engineering, or similar field

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office automation techniques, workflow automation tools (UC4, Airflow, Kafka, etc.) or automation and business process management tools (Atlassian products, and SharePoint, etc.)

Experience within the Financial Services Industry or acting as technical support to one or more operational departments such as Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Legal, etc.

Basic understanding and experience with overseeing technology infrastructure components and services (SSL Certificates, On-premises servers, Firewall rules, etc.)
