Solace is a healthcare advocacy marketplace that connects patients and families to experts who help them understand and take charge of their personal health

About the Role

As a Technical Sourcer at Solace, you’ll help shape our growing engineering team by finding, engaging, and evaluating exceptional technical talent. You’ll build strong pipelines for software engineers and other technical roles, conduct initial phone screens, and partner closely with hiring managers to support final hiring decisions.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment and takes pride in both the craft of sourcing and the art of candidate engagement.

About Solace

Healthcare in the U.S. is fundamentally broken. The system is so complex that 88% of U.S. adults do not have the health literacy necessary to navigate it without help. Solace cuts through the red tape of healthcare by pairing patients with expert advocates and giving them the tools to make better decisions—and get better outcomes.

We're a Series B startup, founded in 2022 and backed by Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures, Torch Capital, Menlo Ventures, and Signalfire. Our fully remote U.S. team is lean, mission-driven, and growing quickly.

Solace isn't a place to coast. We're here to redefine healthcare—and that demands urgency, precision, and heart. If you're looking to stretch yourself, sharpen your edge, and do the best work of your life alongside a team that cares deeply, you're in the right place. We’re intense, and we like it that way.

What You’ll Do
  • Source, identify, and engage top engineering and technical talent through LinkedIn, GitHub, technical forums, and other creative channels.

  • Conduct thoughtful phone screens to assess technical fit, motivation, and alignment with Solace’s values.

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and define ideal candidate profiles.

  • Provide organized, data-driven insights and candidate summaries to help managers make confident hiring decisions.

  • Maintain candidate pipelines in our ATS (Ashby), ensuring accurate tracking and timely communication.

  • Collaborate with the recruiting team to refine sourcing strategies, improve candidate experience, and optimize processes as we scale.

  • Build and maintain relationships with high-potential candidates for future opportunities.

What We’re Looking For
  • 2–4 years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth or startup environment.

  • Proven ability to attract and engage engineering talent using creative sourcing methods.

  • Comfort conducting structured phone screens and representing the company with professionalism and enthusiasm.

  • Strong familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and ATS tools (Ashby experience a plus).

  • Organized and detail-oriented, with clear communication skills and follow-through.

  • Collaborative mindset with a genuine interest in understanding technical roles and hiring needs.

  • A sense of ownership, urgency, and curiosity—you like to experiment and learn what works.

If you're a recruiter who thrives in a high-energy startup setting and is passionate about scaling engineering teams, we’d love to hear from you!

Applicants must be based in the United States.

Up for the Challenge?

We look forward to meeting you.
