Our team is small, fast, and obsessed with quality. We own outcomes end-to-end, challenge assumptions, and treat our customers' problems as our own. No task is beneath anyone here.
There are a few thousand people who will shape the trajectory of superintelligence. Come and be one of them.
About the RoleWe're seeking a strategic Technical Sourcers who can map, find, and engage the top 0.01% of technical candidates in the world - before anyone else knows they exist. You'll own the sourcing function at Fluidstack: building proactive pipelines across engineering and technical domains, producing market intelligence that informs hiring strategy, and driving outreach that converts the best passive talent into interested candidates.
This is not a reactive role. You won't be backfilling open reqs from inbound. You'll be running ahead of the business - mapping talent landscapes, identifying future needs, and ensuring Fluidstack always has a pipeline of exceptional people ready to engage when roles open.
What You’ll DoConduct mappings: Map talent pools, competitive landscapes, and emerging technical communities to deliver actionable intelligence on where exceptional candidates are, what they care about, and how to reach them.
Build pipeline strategies: Partner with TA Partners and/or independently build and execute on sourcing strategies to build up pipelines for multiple completing positions.
Operate as a data-driven function: Track pipeline metrics, outreach conversion rates, source effectiveness, and market trends. Use data to continuously refine sourcing strategies and report pipeline health to recruiters and leadership.
Build sourcing infrastructure: Design and document sourcing playbooks, channel strategies, and talent maps that scale with the company and create institutional knowledge across the team.
Partner closely with recruiting and hiring managers: Collaborate to understand evolving hiring needs, align on ideal candidate profiles, and hand off warm, well-qualified pipelines that accelerate time-to-hire.
Sourcing as a craft: You don't post and pray. You hunt with a systematic and organized approach - through technical communities, research networks, and channels no one else is using. Finding people others can't is your competitive edge.
Strategic and proactive mindset: You think in pipelines and talent maps, not individual reqs. You're always running ahead of the business, not catching up to it.
Data fluency: You measure everything - outreach rates, pipeline conversion, source quality - and use that data to make sharper decisions, not just report activity.
Technical credibility: You understand the difference between a strong resume and genuine technical excellence. You can speak credibly with engineers and assess profiles with nuance.
Speed without shortcuts: You move fast, but you don't sacrifice quality. You build high-signal pipelines quickly and keep them warm.
Builder mentality: You create structure where none exists, document what you learn, and leave the function better than you found it.
2+ years of sourcing experience, with a proven track record of building proactive pipelines and landing exceptional candidates - be ready to talk specifics.
Demonstrated ability to conduct talent and market mapping, including reports and pipeline analyses that inform hiring strategy.
Deep channel expertise: GitHub, arXiv, technical conferences, Discord/Slack communities, academic networks, and alternative sourcing techniques beyond standard tools.
Strong data orientation - you track sourcing metrics, measure what works, and adjust strategy based on evidence.
Experience working in high-growth tech companies or startups, preferably in datacenter/cloud/infrastructure, AI/ML.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent pipelines across roles, functions, and time zones with strong prioritization instincts.
Clear and concise communication. You are able to synthesize chaotic market trends into relevant highlights for the business.
