About the Opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Sourcer & Recruiting Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who excels at identifying and engaging technical talent, keeping recruiting operations running smoothly, and providing an exceptional candidate experience from first touch to close.
You will work closely with our recruiting team and hiring managers to build strong candidate pipelines across Product, Engineering, Data, and Design, while also owning the coordination and operational backbone that keeps our hiring process moving efficiently.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, communicative, and energized by the pace of a venture studio environment. You don't need to have run full-cycle searches independently but you should be resourceful, proactive, and passionate about connecting great people with great opportunities.
In This Role, You Will:
Sourcing & Pipeline Building
- Proactively source candidates across Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Design using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, niche channels, and outbound campaigns
- Research and identify target companies, talent pools, and communities to build high-quality pipelines for active and future roles
- Craft personalized outreach messages that resonate with technical and creative talent
- Track sourcing activity, response rates, and pipeline metrics to continuously improve outreach effectiveness
Recruiting Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate interviews across multiple time zones with speed and accuracy
- Manage candidate communications throughout the interview process—confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, and feedback collection
- Maintain clean, up-to-date records in the ATS (e.g., Gem, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar); ensure data hygiene and process compliance
- Prepare and send offer letters, DocuSign agreements, and other candidate-facing documents
- Support onboarding logistics and handoffs between recruiting and people ops
Operations & Collaboration
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and keep searches moving with urgency
- Identify workflow gaps and suggest process improvements to improve speed and candidate experience
- Maintain a positive, professional, and warm candidate experience at every touchpoint
- Support employer brand efforts—posting roles, maintaining job boards, and ensuring consistency across platforms
What You Bring
- 1–4 years of experience in technical sourcing, recruiting coordination, or a related talent acquisition role
- Familiarity with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, or similar platforms
- Experience coordinating interviews and managing candidates in an ATS
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills—you don't let things fall through the cracks
- Clear, professional written communication; you know how to represent a company brand in candidate-facing messages
- Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive mindset—you ask questions, raise flags, and find solutions
- Exposure to technical hiring (Engineering, Product, Data, Design) is a strong plus
- Experience in a startup, venture studio, or high-growth tech environment is a plus but not required
Location
Remote, with offices in Los Angeles, CA and San Francisco, CA. Preference for candidates based in or near Los Angeles.
