SchooLinks is looking for a Technical Solutions Manager to join our growing Solutions Team. In this role, you’ll lead the implementation of one or more of our most complex modules, helping districts track student progress and outcomes that shape real educational impact.

You’ll own the implementation process from kickoff to launch, working closely with Customer Success Managers and district partners. While Customer Success manages the overall relationship, you’ll dive deep into the details for the module you are responsible for, gathering business requirements, translating them into technical configurations, and ensuring districts get the most value out of the SchooLinks platform.

This role requires strong customer engagement skills, understanding and analyzing customer data, translation of district processes to our platform, and proficiency in learning and applying a broad range of technical configurations. You will work to identify and implement the best solutions to meet each customer’s specific requirements, leveraging the available configurations. Additionally, you’ll develop creative solutions for complex customer needs and communicate technical concepts in a clear, accessible manner.

Your responsibilities will include…

  • Own and drive the project management for the modules within your scope, including ensuring the right tasks are getting done, and the status of each implementation is reported correctly.
  • Work with customers to understand their specific needs, special situations, and use cases, then identify and implement solutions.
  • Hands-on configuration of the module, including setup, data triage, and customization.
  • Understand data dependencies and help resolve data issues.
  • Develop expertise in how the module fits within the broader SchooLinks product ecosystem.
  • Continuously engage with customers to maintain project velocity, generate buy-in, and drive adoption.
  • Work with Customer Success to collaborate on customer interaction, escalation, and timelines.
  • Continuously define and document problems and challenges faced by our partners.
  • Assist the Product team with quality assurance and improvement of the product.

Requirements
  • 2+ years experience as an implementation specialist or similar role in a B2B SaaS company.
  • Strong project management skills (understand task dependencies/sequence and management of tasks).
  • Experience managing multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial style, eager to take initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic environment — you know when and how to find the correct information when needed.
  • Loves getting into the weeds to figure something out, but is a fundamentalist when it comes to completing tasks and completing deliverables.
  • Strong technical understanding - Ability to understand the logic and how platform data connections work.
  • Ability to work with data feeds, including reviewing data files, identifying problems.
  • Confident presenting to district stakeholders and motivating them to complete tasks.
  • Clear and concise communicator — the ability to boil down product and engineering jargon into simple and concise customer communications.
  • Preferred, not required - experience with scripting (Python, etc.) and JSON data.
  • Positive attitude - you can stay optimistic in high stress situations.

Benefits
  • 100% health care coverage for Employee
  • 401K with company matching
  • Dental & Vision
  • Parental Leave
  • Subsidized gym membership
  • Remote work stipend
  • Annual team offsite

A reasonable estimate of the on track earnings for this position is between $70k - $110k USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; specific geographic location; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
