At L2L, we’re tackling one of the toughest problems in manufacturing: disconnected people, processes, and data. L2L empowers frontline teams to manufacture better together. Our Connected Workforce platform unifies collaboration, maintenance, and OEE for data-driven decisions, real-time visibility, and streamlined operations. Drive action that matters with clear insights and a high-performing workforce.

This isn’t just about software. It’s about real impact. When you work at L2L, you're helping factories run smarter, safer, and more efficiently—every single day. We’re a purpose-driven team that cares deeply about solving the right problems. We move fast, work together, and celebrate the wins that actually matter. Pretty cool, right?

We’re looking for a Technical Services Engineer to join our team:

Here’s how you can drive action that matters.

Top Outcomes:
  1. Accelerate Delivery: Design, build, and deploy high-quality integrations, dashboards, and automation workflows that extend the L2L platform and meet real customer needs.
  2. Scale What Works: Architect stable, secure, and scalable technical solutions using L2L Connect, FlowEngine, APIs, and industrial protocols to support repeatable customer use cases.
  3. Elevate Customer Experience: Translate customer requirements into reliable technical solutions that deliver real-time visibility, automation, and actionable insights—without requiring direct shop floor support.
  4. Drive Reliability Through Ownership & Continuous Improvement: Own the reliability of delivered solutions by implementing multi-level error handling and safeguards against data loss, while continuously contributing to team learning and engineering best practices.
What You’ll Do:
  • Design, develop, and deploy backend integrations, frontend dashboards, and automation workflows using L2L Connect, FlowEngine, L2L Studio, and APIs
  • Implement machine data connectivity using standard industrial protocols (MQTT, OPC UA) to enable real-time data flow into the L2L platform
  • Architect solutions aligned to customer use cases, ensuring scalability, security, and long-term reliability
  • Write clean, maintainable code and participate in solution and code reviews to uphold engineering best practices
  • Apply thorough testing (unit and integration) to ensure first-time-right delivery and graceful recovery from failures
  • Document solutions clearly, including technical diagrams, configuration guides, and handoff documentation
  • Manage scoped project work by tracking tasks, timelines, and risks, and communicating progress and blockers clearly
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong experience with Node-RED, JavaScript, SQL, L2L APIs, Vue.js, and CSS
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and data integration
  • Working knowledge of industrial networking and integration protocols, including MQTT and OPC UA
  • Ability to design and own technical solutions end-to-end
  • Clear communicator with strong documentation and consulting skills
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams
Preferred locations:

L2L practices a remote-first approach while offering office space in Burlington, MA. Due to the collaborative nature of this role, we are looking for someone who lives in the EST, CST or MST time zone

Our Values:

Our values are at the core of everything we do. We believe in collaboration because we’re better together. We embody a mindset of continuous improvement, bold thinking, curiosity, and adapting with purpose. We take ownership by stepping up, taking responsibility, and driving results. And we lead with positivity, supporting ourselves and each other. Interested in seeing our values in action?
