About the team

To further our mission, we are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiting Manager to lead and scale our growing Product Management and Design organizations. This role will manage a full-cycle recruiting team, focusing on their development and outstanding performance in achieving hiring goals. You will spearhead strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality and productivity of Stripe’s recruiting organization while serving as a trusted advisor to technical leadership.

What you’ll do

Recruiting is a core strategic driver of Stripe’s success. We have a world-class team working together to attract and hire thoughtful, collaborative, and focused people who drive Stripe's global impact. We are looking for a Manager for our Product Management and Design Recruiting teams who will develop and support our recruiters, help streamline our recruitment process, enhance candidate experience, and provide metrics and analysis on hiring progress. This role will require partnering closely with senior leaders across the Product and Design organization to understand their hiring objectives and develop team recruiting strategies to hit headcount goals. This individual must be a builder who thrives in a learning environment—unafraid to try new things, embrace new ideas, and welcome suggestions for how we can iterate on our hiring processes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 7+ full-cycle technical recruiters, fostering an environment where recruiters thrive, grow, and feel empowered to do their best work.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across the organization to deeply understand hiring needs and develop data-driven recruiting strategies to meet ambitious headcount goals.
  • Drive operational rigor by leveraging analytics and first-principles thinking to challenge assumptions, recommend solutions, and influence change.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross functional partners including, Finance, People Partners, Recruiting Operations, and Global Recruiting Leadership to align talent strategy, organizational priorities, and recruiting capacity.
  • Provide timely reporting of key metrics and insights to inform talent strategy, decision-making, and improve processes.
  • Champion the candidate, interviewer, and hiring manager experience by implementing data-driven insights that refine recruitment processes.
Who you are

Minimum requirements 
  • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (in-house experience preferred).
  • 4+ years of recruiting management experience, with a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, known for building trusted relationships across all levels of leadership.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale process improvements that have org-wide impact.
  • Hands-on experience navigating a fast-paced environment and leading with clarity in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to connect with individuals at all levels.
  • Strong operational rigor, with the ability to balance strategic vision with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience successfully partnering with teams across different geographies and timezones.
