About the Role:
As a Talent Partner (Technology) with Kustomer’s Talent Acquisition team, you will work closely with our Head of Talent Acquisition, Hiring Managers and TA team on building an amazing company full of the best people in the business. Focused on hiring for the R&D side of our team (SWE, Security, Product/UXR) you will be a guide, thought partner, and advisor for driving engagement with talent.
This role is focused on the full cycle of recruiting, including a focus on process optimization and strategic headcount planning.
You will also partner with our sourcing function (e.g., building top-of funnel) for critical roles.

Execution Excellence - As a data-driven partner to leaders and employees across the company, your presence sets the bar for recruiting excellence. You maintain the highest levels of data integrity in our ATS (Ashby), maintain and improve hiring steps and processes and collaborate effectively with managers and teammates to improve the TA function. You’ll directly partner with engineering and product leadership to implement and maintain the appropriate processes, tools, systems and training necessary to scale and support a world-class team (e.g. hiring strategy meetings, kick off meetings, sourcing sessions, interview scheduling, panel preparation and debrief).
Your qualifications:

7+ years track record of delivering metrics-based success in a data-driven talent acquisition function, preferably in a Series A/B/C stage SAAS company

Demonstrated ability to source diverse talent pools and deliver an exceptional candidate experience

Strong influencing skills with hiring teams to maintain consistency and mitigate bias in selection processes

Previous recruiting experience for a wide range of technology disciplines, including but not limited to AI/ML roles, Data Engineering, Eng Leadership, highest level ICs

You’re naturally curious, ask questions and you don’t shy away from challenges

Deep expertise in one or more applicant tracking systems - experience with Ashby a plus

Experience organizing and executive a passive candidate sourcing plan with higher-than-industry average response rates

Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or LinkedIn as a recruiting tool

Expert knowledge of Google Office

Strong understanding of talent and competency models, recruiting fundamentals, competitive market awareness and online/social media

Knowledge of the web/Internet market space, including trade journals, academic institutions, alumni associations and other sources of great candidates

Excellent communication, time management and negotiation skills

Ability to work with internal clients to develop and iterate best-in-class profiles to reflect the talent needs of the business

Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment

Strong preference for talent based in New York Metropolitan Area

Experience partnering closely with Engineering Leadership to create and evolve a multi-year headcount plan cognizant of business, product and technical needs.

Balance of scaled tech company and mid-stage Series C/D/E startup experience

Strong preference for talent based in New York City Metropolitan Area who are open to 1-2 days/week in office in midtown
