Certifications: Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
Required Education: HS Diploma/GED
Required Experience: Seven (7)+ years of experience in supporting Information Technology as a Project Manager.
Position Description:
PingWind is seeking a Technical Project Manager who will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects within the government sector. This role involves coordinating with multiple stakeholders, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and managing project resources to meet contractual obligations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in program management, a strong understanding of government contracting processes, and a technical background in IT.
Primary Responsibilities:
Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:
• Manages, coordinates, and establishes priorities for the complete life cycle of Information Technology projects including the planning, design, programming, testing, and implementation of solutions. Determines project needs and acquires resources required for the success of the project.
•Designs project plans which identify needs and define major tasks and milestones, based on scope, resources, budget, and personnel.
• Utilizes Agile methodologies to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects.
• Defines the project scope and schedule, breaking large projects down into manageable sequences and enabling the team to turn around tasks faster.
• Experience with planning, management, leadership, coordination, budgeting, customer contact and execution of large-scale and complex projects similar in nature, scope, and complexity to work contemplated in this PWS.
• Strong technical understanding of Information Technology, Identity and Access Management, and AWS GovCloud systems and services for the areas of work contemplated in PWS.
• Expert knowledge of recent technological advances in computer science and engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in presenting material to senior Government officials.
• Ability to interact and communicate with key managers and functional experts including internal service delivery teams, client project teams, external service provider project teams.
• Demonstrated experience in executing, monitoring, and managing projects to successful, high- quality and on-budget completion.
