POSITION OVERVIEW

The Technical Project Manager, will play a critical role in managing and overseeing technical projects from initiation to completion. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that project goals and objectives are met within the established timeframe and budget. With your strong leadership skills and technical expertise, you will guide teams towards successful project delivery, ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Preferred locations: Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, Texas

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage technical projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and regularly communicate project status updates to all stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal utilization and efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze project performance, tracking key metrics and making necessary adjustments to ensure project success.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience managing and delivering technical projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including Agile, Scrum, and other iterative methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in data center infrastructure and networking concepts; experience with other critical environment industries will be considered

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • PMP certification very highly desired.  If PMP certification has not been earned, the ideal candidate will complete the PMP certification within 18 months of hire.
  • 5 Years experience working around critical environments such as data centers
