Job Description

  • Engages with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepares communication for technical project tasks to achieve scope, utilizing a clear project plan to gain acceptance for strategic plans from stakeholders.
  • Ensures technical projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Builds and maintains key strategic relationships across the enterprise by providing regular technical stakeholder communication and progress reports to ensure alignment with overall strategic plans.
  • Leads the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement, change management, and communication strategies.
  • Organizes technical project teams, using project management methodology, assigns individual responsibilities, develops project schedules, and determines resource requirements.
  • Integrates vendor tasks into technical project plans, tracks, and reviews vendor deliverables.
  • Facilitates technical project transition into daily business operations
  • Performs project risk management.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Experience: 

  • 3 year’s project management and/or relevant experience
  • Prior experience handling SDLC-based projects is highly preferred.
  • Experience with ADO preferred, Jira ok
  • Experience using Aha! a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)

Licenses/Certifications: 

  • PMO (Project Management Office) Certification or PMP (Project Management Professional) Certifications
  • Scrum certifications - SAFe, CSM, CSP-SM

Level Specific Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of medium to large semi-complex to complex technical projects from design to delivery.
  • Analyze technical project performance and recommends solutions to minimize negative impacts
  • Responsible for technical projects that generally last more than 6 months
  • Assists in defining business requirements, researches external benchmarks, and gathers appropriate data
  • May coach team members on technical project plan delivery

Accountability/Complexity:

  • Works independently on moderately complex projects/assignments and seeks guidance on projects/assignments of higher complexity
  • May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees
