Our client — an early-stage fintech startup — is developing a blockchain-based payment system designed to power real-time, 24/7 movement of digital money across traditional and decentralized ecosystems. They’re building a next-generation financial infrastructure that bridges traditional banking and digital assets through tokenization and on-chain settlement technology.
We’re seeking a Technical Project Manager (Contract) to coordinate and deliver the development of this blockchain-based payment platform. You’ll orchestrate efforts across smart contract, backend, and DevOps teams to bring a new category of fintech infrastructure to life.
About the RoleReporting directly to the CTO, you’ll own delivery of the technical roadmap, managing complex dependencies between blockchain, backend, and cloud infrastructure components. You’ll work closely with engineering leads, product stakeholders, and external partners to ensure smooth execution from prototype to production launch.
This role involves managing technical operations in an AI-enhanced engineering environment, where automation, real-time systems, and cross-functional collaboration drive success.
What You’ll DoOversee execution across smart contract, backend, and DevOps teams to ensure aligned delivery
Manage interdependencies between ZK Sync blockchain deployments, Node.js services, and banking integrations
Build and maintain project workflows in Linear, tracking milestones and cross-team coordination
Develop comprehensive documentation in Notion — including architecture decisions, technical runbooks, and process guidelines
Coordinate smart contract audits, deployment schedules, and security reviews
Facilitate technical discussions across Solidity, backend, and infrastructure domains
Manage release cycles involving Foundry-based smart contract deployments and backend updates
Identify, track, and mitigate technical risks related to blockchain operations, compliance, and reliability
Bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Implement AI-driven productivity tools and automation in development and project tracking
Lead incident response and post-mortem coordination across teams
Drive agile best practices for distributed, continuously deploying teams
6+ years of experience in technical project or program management
3+ years managing engineering teams in blockchain or fintech environments
Strong technical understanding of blockchain lifecycles, smart contract deployments, and cloud infrastructure
Ability to read and discuss Solidity, Node.js, and DevOps implementations
Experience managing projects with real-time systems, WebSockets, and event-driven architectures
Proven delivery experience within regulated or compliance-heavy financial systems
Excellent communicator — able to translate technical details into business context
Skilled at managing multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional collaboration
