About this Position

The incumbent will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and implementation of Enterprise Data Management projects, to lead the development and maintenance of the EDM Roadmap and oversee the full integration of assigned personnel /resources to ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished within designated timeframes and budgets. As a project leader they will communicate deadlines, research issues, receive and respond to feedback from users, and monitor and summarize progress of projects. The role will develop and run reports on all lines of business using data from sources within and outside of the PFS companies, and be able to create complex queries our legacy DB2 systems, SQL, Access, Jira and Smartsheets. This role will serve as a strategic liaison between internal stakeholders, external partners, ensuring alignment on data architecture, governance and business intelligence needs.
This role is hybrid in Duluth, GA

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Roadmap Development and Execution

  • Support the documentation and organization of the enterprise data roadmap in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders
  • Facilitate working sessions, stand-up and scrum meetings with data architects, developers, governance leaders and business units to capture goals, priorities and dependencies
  • Assist in structuring and sequencing roadmap components, including data platform enhancements, governance milestones and analytics capabilities
  • Coordinate the collection and validation of inputs from stakeholders to ensur alignment with strategic objectives
  • Help define and track key milestones, deliverables and timelines across data initiatives
  • Maintain version-controlled documentation and visual artifacts to support roadmap communication and decision-making 

Project Coordination and Implementation

  • Ensure requirements and appropriate approvals are delivered by product teams
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights.
  • Prepare executive level presentations and reports
  • Manage third party engagement oversight - with external consultants/vendors for EDM projects
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and documentation reviews to support requirements discovery

User Training

  • Develop training materials, assist in training user groups on new systems and may be required to create/ maintain end user databases
  • Provide training to user groups on existing systems and trouble-shoot user abends or other technical issues to ensure efficient tracking and reporting on tasks and project deliverables

Ad Hoc Reporting

  • Develop and run reports on all lines of business using data from sources within and outside of the PFS companies, they must therefore be able to create complex queries our legacy DB2, systems,  SQL and/or Access.  
  • Provide analytical support, project support for system and workflow analysis, review and testing of programming changes in both development and test environment, analyze results, identify concerns and communicate findings.  

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology / Project Management
