Job Responsibilities:
The Technical Project Lead is responsible for the successful technical development of our automotive electronic products, guiding the development team from concept through mass production. The role requires close attention to engineering BOM costs, manufacturability, testability, functional safety, and quality.
Your Responsibilities:
You lead engineering activities to ensure work products are delivered on time, in compliance with configuration management, product development processes, and customer expectations. You serve as the primary technical contact for the Product Development Team and act as a technical interface during customer presentations.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Interpret customer specifications, ensuring requirements are thoroughly documented and incorporated into the design.
  • Develop and review mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing technical requirements and specifications.
  • Regularly review, track, communicate, and report project status using dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate with management to identify and resolve issues quickly; escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Address technical issues, drive failure analysis, and present findings to customers
  • Manage engineering risks, develop contingency and mitigation plans, and execute corrective actions.

Who we are looking for:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

Experience:
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in serial automotive product development, with a focus on electronic systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a technical leadership role, preferably leading global teams.
  • Proven success in launching automotive electronic products.

Your preferred qualifications:
  • Familiarity with automotive standards such as FUSA and Cyber Security is a plus.
  • Experience with structured engineering processes.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving techniques (8D, Fishbone diagrams).
  • Troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Knowledge of DFMEA, configuration management, and project monitoring and requirements management tools.

Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of measurements and diagnostic tools (DMM, oscilloscopes, video scopes).
  • Automotive sensing, camera, ECU, or ADAS product/test experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with automotive standards such as FUSA and Cyber Security is a plus.
  • Experience with HIL/SIL testing and structured engineering processes.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving techniques (8D, Fishbone diagrams).
  • Troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Knowledge of DFMEA, configuration management, and project monitoring tools (e.g., PTC/MKS).

Technical Tools:
  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink, dSpace, LabVIEW, and model-based development tools.
  • Familiarity with automotive network tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape, neoVI).
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Language & Communication:
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written).
  • Knowledge of additional languages is desirable.

Travel:
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Abilities:
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and global environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of representing technical topics internally and externally.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently.
  • Proven mentoring and leadership capabilities.

Hiring Salary Range: $145,000 - $180,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data)
