Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Programme Manager with a background in cloud-based data management platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of managing cross-functional teams and driving project success.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track project progress against these plans.
  • Coordinate and manage technical release processes, ensuring smooth and timely deployment of software and system updates.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, aligning them with business goals.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Ensure adherence to data management best practices, including data governance, data quality, and data security.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance project management processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Programme Manager, with a focus on data management.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of data management principles, including data governance, data quality, and data security.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are highly desirable.
