Job Responsibilities:
Magna New Mobility is seeking a results-driven Technical Project Manager to lead the sales Engineering team of our Software Products. This role is critical in driving software development for multiple software product lines, including New Mobility's Unified Factory and Industrial automation applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about enterprise software, excels at driving project engagement, and has a track record of success in complex environments.
Responsibilities• Assist in planning and executing sales engineering initiatives using Agile methodologies, ensuring alignment with customer needs, technical requirements, and sales timelines.• Support the facilitation of team ceremonies such as technical syncs, pre-sales planning, and post-engagement retrospectives to enhance collaboration and solution delivery.• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to prioritize customer requirements and manage the technical backlog to ensure timely and effective solution development.• Communicate effectively with account executives, clients, and internal stakeholders to provide updates on solution design, technical challenges, and proposed resolutions.• Contribute to the development and tracking of performance metrics related to pre-sales activities, proof of concept (POC) success rates, and customer satisfaction.• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, solution architects, and implementation engineers, to ensure proposed solutions align with customer and business goals.• Assist in identifying and addressing technical risks or customer objections during the sales cycle, escalating as needed to maintain momentum and deal progression.• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge of products, sales methodologies, and emerging technologies relevant to the sales engineering role.• Contribute to the preparation and delivery of technical documentation, solution demos, and post-engagement reports to support sales efforts and inform future engagements.
Skills And Experience• A bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or equivalent experience• Working knowledge of the Software and/or Product Development life cycle• 1-3 years of experience in project management or Agile development methodologies, preferably in a product organization• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.• Familiarity with project management tools and software.
