About us

Tecsys is a fast-growing innovator offering supply chain solutions to industry leading healthcare systems, hospitals, and pharmacy businesses to distributors, retailers, and 3PLs. We work with industry leaders to transform their supply chains through technology. If you thrive on tackling interesting challenges with continuous learning opportunities, then Tecsys could be a good fit for you!

About the Role

You will act as the bridge between business, engineering, and operations. You will define and execute the roadmap for container orchestration, automate deployment workflows, ensure platform stability, and enable teams to reliably and securely deploy and operate their containerized applications. You’ll own prioritization, backlog, stakeholder alignment, and ensure operational readiness.  By guiding investments in infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes/Helm), you will enable both new cloud-native services and the modernization of legacy workloads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and prioritize the backlog for platform automation, deployment, and compliance initiatives.
  • Translate business, security, and regulatory requirements into actionable epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with engineering teams to:

- Automate build, packaging, and deployment processes.

- Enhance CI/CD pipelines with reliability, repeatability, and security in mind.

- Introduce advanced orchestration patterns to achieve zero-downtime deployments.

- Eliminate manual processes and embed automation into every step of delivery.

  • Drive platform evolution and application modernization to deliver high availability, elastic scaling, disaster recovery, and improved resiliency.
  • Align automation and deployment priorities with business requirements to minimize cognitive load while meeting compliance obligations.
  • Develop, track, and achieve product-level KPIs (deployment speed, reliability, adoption, developer satisfaction).
  • Support architecture and security leads in design validation, risk assessment, and regulatory alignment.
  • Document requirements, solution overviews, and product decisions clearly and consistently.
  • Facilitate cross-team discussions to align on scope, dependencies, and delivery timelines.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in SaaS, enterprise software, or infrastructure platforms.
  • Ability to work in DevOps environments and collaborate with engineers skilled in:
    • Orchestration with Kubernetes and Helm
    • GitOps practices
    • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), including management consoles and CLI integration.
    • Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
    • Scripting (Bash and/or Python or others)
    • CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g.: GitLab-CI)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and translate technical trade-offs to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong ability to structure and document requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ability to translate technical and regulatory needs into clear business outcomes.
  • Experience in compliance-driven environments (e.g., SOC2, FedRAMP, FIPS) is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and prioritization skills.
  • Belief in DevOps culture and its principles of automation, seamless delivery, and collaboration.

What could give you an edge while applying?

  • Identity & Access Management: Experience with Keycloak or similar providers (Cognito, Okta) and understanding of modern authentication flows (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML).
  • Platform & Security Enhancements: Exposure to service mesh, serverless workloads, and secrets management.
  • Observability & Reliability: Experience with metrics, monitoring, and ensuring platform health and scalability.

We understand that experience comes in many forms and that careers are not always linear. If you don't meet every requirement in this posting, we still encourage you to apply.

At Tecsys, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued, respected, and empowered. We believe that diversity drives innovation and strengthens our ability to deliver exceptional solutions. We welcome and encourage applicants from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to join our team.
