The TPM partners with Product Management, integrations clients and partners to deliver IDeaS' company vision for new features that require data exchange with IDeaS and a client or partner solution or new integrations.
What you'll be doing...

  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate and document lower-level requirements for the integration of data and data integration approaches in IDeaS' products
  • Document, understand and map-out how integrations function from a message level, all the way to how the data is used in IDeaS solutions or partner solutions
  • Deliver detailed requirements documentation to outline at a message level how data can be consumed by IDeaS solutions or delivered to partner solutions
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate and document the use of data in IDeaS' products and how this aligns to IDeaS' vision and strategy
  • Understand our business strategy and deliver data strategies that reflect a uniquely IDeaS perspective on how to achieve it
  • Advise the cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Development and Integrations on how to best use datasets - to help create and ship delightful products that empower hoteliers to make smarter revenue, distribution & marketing decisions
  • Develop and deliver on IDeaS' integration strategy, spearheading key initiatives and driving cross-functional alignment and progress
  • Work with Product Management, Design, Research, Data Science and Engineering to assess trade-offs and feasibility
  • Support the Partner team in discussions with new and existing partners regarding datasets IDeaS is acquiring or can acquire to further business objectives
  • Support definition of the strategic roadmap as it relates to data integration, providing inputs to Marketing, Product and Development to support thought-leadership and technical delivery required to realize IDeaS' strategic vision
  • Manage ongoing prioritization, release notes and delivery of integration-related functionality.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years' of relevant experience in an agile based software company working in an integration-related Product role
  • Experience in common methodologies of data exchange leveraging APIs, XML messaging and JSON documents via web service and streaming based integrations
  • Experience with the security protocols around data exchanges
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience creating deliverables such as Business Requirements Document (BRDs), User Stories, Use Cases, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTMs), Workflow Diagrams.
