ResponsibilitiesOversee code quality, ensuring it meets the latest standards and is thoroughly tested
Drive project progression, ensuring work moves smoothly and on schedule
Work closely with product managers, engineers, and leadership to align engineering efforts with business goals
Collaborate with leadership on high-level planning to align engineering initiatives with business goals
Define the strategic direction of integrations and technical initiatives in line with Kintsugi’s vision, staying proactive about advancements in technology and industry trends
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of robust integrations with third-party products, enabling seamless customer data access.
Lead a talented engineering team in Southeast Asia, providing guidance, mentorship, and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
Experience: Minimum of 6 years in a similar technical role, with significant exposure to integrations
Experience in a remote, matrixed organization a bonus
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Python, AWS Serverless, Lambda, React, FastAPI, and Postgres
Leadership Skills: Strong focus on mentorship with the ability to make decisive calls in a fast-paced environment
Location: Remote position, open to candidates in South Asia
3+ years of experience with FastAPI or Flask, with a focus on building APIs.
5+ years of experience building microservices or serverless applications, particularly in a cloud-native environment.
5+ years of experience with AWS, including hands-on experience with services like Lambda, S3, and RDS.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
A proactive approach to learning new technologies and a passion for continuous improvement.
