About the role

Bullhorn Talent Platform is a leading provider of cloud-based software solutions for the recruitment and staffing industry. We're seeking an experienced Technical Leader to join our team and drive the development of our Talent Platform product

We're looking for a highly skilled Technical Leader to lead our development teams and drive the technical direction of our Talent Platform product. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

As a Technical Leader, a typical day will include...

  • Driving technical initiatives and initiatives execution through small, achievable milestones, ensuring team members are executing to team and department level standards

  • Collaborating with architects, product managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that the team is working on the most impactful items

  • Leading cross-team execution, requiring effective communication and collaboration with team members

  • Identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring that team processes align with Bullhorn standards

  • Providing guidance and direction for team members, including career development, performance reviews, onboarding, and mentoring

  • Improving software health, driving efficiency, and cultivating a positive team culture

  • Staying up-to-date with the latest software, frameworks, tools, and methods, making recommendations on how to apply these advances to current products and engineering practices

  • Demonstrating radical candor, emotional intelligence, adaptability, proactivity, and continuous learning in a rapidly changing environment

This role is a fit for you if…

  • Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

  • You have a minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

  • You have experience in managing multiple teams, including Agile development methodologies

  • You have strong technical expertise in software development, with a focus on systems, architecture, and process improvement

  • You have experience working with C# .NET Core/Angular & AngularJS, PHP Experience
