DEPARTMENT: Curriculum Solutions

POSITION TITLE: Technical Curriculum Developer (ERP and CRM)

REPORTS TO: Director, Instructional Design & Development

DURATION: Part-Time Contract Role

COMPENSATION: $55/hour

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a technically minded Technical Curriculum Developer to support the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of scalable training solutions for skilled trades learners in ERP (SAP) and CRM (Salesforce) technologies.

This role is ideal for a technical translator - someone with the rare ability to break down these complex software systems and transform them into structured, high-quality learning experiences. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Salesforce Administration and is equally comfortable navigating ERP platforms such as SAP.

You are not just a writer - you are a builder. You understand how business processes and enterprise systems work together, and you can translate that understanding into practical, effective training that helps learners confidently use, support, and maintain these systems.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Curriculum Design

  • Assume primary responsibility for the analysis and design phase of new curricula in the subject domain.
  • Make telephone calls, virtual meetings or in person meetings with prospective clients.
  • Conduct planning and research using a variety of database, internet, and industry tools, demonstrating clear understanding of client stakeholders requirements, and matching to the proposed solution
  • Provide technical presentations and demonstrations detailing how Per Scholas solutions will solve the client's challenges and meet their needs.
  • Design slide decks for clients/funders highlighting the design choices made by the client.
  • Assist sales activities that require advanced technical product knowledge.
  • Update sales and client databases with current information and deliverables.

Curriculum Development

  • Work closely with Instructional designers  to create, implement, and revise curriculum materials related to Salesforce Administrator
  • Maintain ongoing oversight of materials to ensure quality and accuracy of curriculum
  • Work with the Product Development team, Technology team, instructors, and administrative leaders throughout the organization to ensure a cohesive approach to advance training materials development
  • Utilize technology and media to develop dynamic and engaging curriculum content
  • Create, edit, and update Facilitators guides to help instructors teach the content
  • Utilize in-house Learning Management System for assignments, tests, and real-time performance monitoring
  • Design learning activities that are clearly presented, engaging, and use a variety of learning styles (visual, aural, kinesthetic (etc.) and instructors will find it easy to follow
  • Develop solutions (e.g., instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, blended, etc.) that provide relevant, challenging, and productive learning experiences. Finalize materials through reviews, pilot tests, etc.
  • Define, document, and maintain the scope of learning materials. Perform risk assessment and mitigation and communicate clearly inside and outside the team.
  • Research on new technical training offerings, upskill and take challenges to develop curriculum content and assessments
  • Complete special projects and requests as opportunities arise
  • Contribute to fine-tuning our content development process as we scale, and your work will ultimately deliver quality, reliable methods of measuring learners' progress nationwide.

Curriculum Maintenance & Feedback

  • Proactively synthesize feedback from learners, instructors, and field SMEs to identify pain points and drive rapid curriculum iteration.
  • Manage the update cycle for existing modules: adding, updating, or removing content based on changing industry standards and market signals.
  • Maintain meticulous version control and technical documentation for all training materials to ensure site-to-site consistency across national programs.

Program Support & Collaboration

  • Develop robust instructor onboarding materials and resource libraries, including technical reference sheets and troubleshooting guides for trainers.
  • Assist with the creation of program descriptions and technical marketing materials for recruitment and external partnership engagement.
