The Technical Consultant is responsible for managing and implementing configurations for implementations, client change requests, company initiatives and other projects involving the Precisely Engage product suite for large financial services clients. The Technical Consultant is responsible for documenting, planning, managing, and successfully implementing configurations for a Hosted Managed Services platform within scope, schedule, and budget. The Technical Consultant is involved from the initial contract signature through requirements gathering, design, configurations, testing, and implementation. The Technical Consultant is responsible for configurations and testing to meet client expectations to ensure a successful project delivery for all stakeholders.
What you will do:
- Documentation Management: Collaborates with clients to gather and document Business Requirements and/or change requests to effectively develop detailed documents used to configure, validate, and certify to successfully deliver client initiatives. Creates reports and documentation that communicates activities and status in a clear and concise manner.
- Configuration Management: Manages configurations utilizing well-defined business requirements against a detailed project plan.
- Relationship Management: Provides support to internal managers and team members for cross departmental or external coordination. Partners with project managers to define processes to effectively manage and track configuration and validation assignments.
- Process Management: Develops recommended solutions to business problems. Finds ways to learn from previous issues and improve processes and tools to make future efforts more efficient, successful, and repeatable.
- Acceptance Testing: Creates detailed testing plans with defining use cases to develop test cases and success metrics. Track the customer acceptance testing, including punch list resolution, change management and final client approval.
What we are looking for:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- College/University Degree
- 2+ years of external client-facing technical project involvement with financial services clients.
- 2+ years of experience working for a SaaS based software solutions company.
- Proven track record of client-facing technical project involvement with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of execution and delivery of assignments on a tight deadline.
- Proven track record of documenting and executing test cases.
- Ability to collaborate with the project team to meet client expectations.
- Ability to understand and articulate solution business value and impact to client stakeholders.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience working on implementations for Customer Communications Management (CCM) solutions.
- Experience managing testing defined configuration requirements.
- Experience working within a retail banking or insurance environment.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with JIRA and Salesforce
