About The Role

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is the primary post-implementation technical partner for assigned clients, providing full-lifecycle support from onboarding transition through steady-state operations and strategic engagement. Operating across Analyst Services, Professional Services, Customer Success, Support, Sales, and Product, the TAM is the client's internal advocate and primary technical point of contact — driving comprehension (clients get real value from their data), trust (data is complete, correct, and on time), and enablement (deeper platform adoption).

Key Responsibilities
  • Data confidence & governance: Own data completeness across NAV, allocations, and fund entries/exits; track SLAs, manage client expectations, and serve as primary escalation point for data quality issues.
  • Reporting & platform enablement: Support quarterly/monthly/daily reporting cycles, board/IC material prep, and performance packaging (IRR, MOIC, DPI); advise on complex OCIO and family-office structures.
  • Voice of client: Channel structured feedback on data gaps, pain points, and feature requests to Data and Product.
  • Special projects & restructuring: First to identify portfolio reclassification needs; lead scoping and coordinate with Professional Services and Sales into formal SOW.
  • Lifecycle engagement: Own the Implementation-to-steady-state handoff and ongoing technical relationship; support renewals, monitor sentiment, and surface upsell opportunities to Sales.
Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of alternative investment data (PE, real assets, hedge funds): NAV reporting, capital calls, distributions, and performance metrics (IRR, MOIC, DPI).
  • Experience with portfolio reporting platforms, data reconciliation, and institutional investor workflows, including ABOR vs. IBOR frameworks and lagged data environments.
  • Ability to translate complex technical/data concepts into clear, client-facing communication.
  • Strong organization across multiple client relationships and competing priorities, with proven expectation management and escalation handling.
  • Comfort operating cross-functionally across operations, implementation, support, and commercial teams.
Strong Plus
  • Experience with endowments, foundations, OCIOs, RIAs, SFOs, MFOs, pensions, or sovereign wealth funds; OCIO and single/multi-family office reporting structures; multi-asset class performance analysis; custodial feeds and index data integration; and SLA/escalation workflows.
  • Prior experience at a fintech/SaaS platform serving institutional investors, or in fund administration, custody, or investment operations at an asset owner or allocator.
  • Backgrounds featuring implementation consultant, solutions engineer, or technical account/customer success manager.
  • 3+ years in a client-facing technical or investment operations role.

Interview Process

We want this to be a great fit for both sides. After applying, you'll be asked to complete a short set of aptitude and personality assessments before connecting with a recruiter. Everyone goes through them, from interns to our CEO. The invitation will come from a member of our recruiting team — keep an eye on your inbox and check your spam folder just in case.
