Job Overview:

The Investment Product Management team within LPL’s Wealth Management division is responsible for delivering a highly competitive set of investment solutions across the brokerage and advisory platforms.  This includes the platform and product offering, advisor/client access to solutions, and promotional activities.  The team’s goal from an investment product and advisory platform management perspective is to enhance our advisors’ and investors’ experience while helping to improve our firm’s economic and risk profiles. New team seeking to extend a soft-landing by maintaining familiar and established TAMPs or asset management models for all transitioning advisors impacted by LPL’s recent M&A activity.

Responsibilities:

  • The Sr. Analyst, TAMP Platform Management role is primarily focused on our TAMP (turnkey or third-party asset management programs) that include approximately 20 platforms and is an important contributor to the overall investment product and advisory platform strategy.  

  • Works closely with our Transitions, M&A, Business Development, and Wealth Consulting, teams on analysis and recruiting-support opportunities and onboarding of recently recruited advisors/firms.

  • The day-to-day program management activities span the full end of end experience advisors have with the TAMP programs ranging from due diligence, end to end advisor experience, addressing operational issues, negotiating fees and reviewing contracts.  

  • A preferred candidate will have an understanding of the advisor experience, advisory services, and investment offerings in advisory and regulatory risk and compliance requirements.

  • Drive projects, initiatives, and analyses that help reach decisions and ensure tasks move forward to the successful execution of key priorities 

  • Capture feedback from advisors, operations teams, stakeholders and key partners, translating this feedback into insights and recommendations on improving the offering

  • Gathering competitive analysis for key strategic projects

  • Partnering across the firm to advance initiatives, enhancements, and surface to help remove roadblocks in Technology, Finance, Service/Trading, Operations and Legal/Risk

  • Partnering with Compliance, Legal and Risk on the dynamic regulatory environment

  • Participate in the formulation of the program development roadmap

  • Building presentations and delivering findings to leadership and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 4 plus years financial services experience

  • 1 plus year wealth management/advisor support experience required

  • 1 plus year analyzing and organizing multiple large data sets, excel proficient

Preferences:

  • TAMP program experience highly preferred

  • Financial operations experience a plus

  • Platform management or operational experience associated with recognizing dynamic decisions and contributing towards recommendation

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver quality outcomes within short timeframes

  • It is a critical ability for this role to take a problem, identify and recruit partners in relevant areas of the firm to prioritize, and implement solutions in a timely fashion. 

  • Focused on assisting with the development and management of the TAMP offerings available to LPL advisors.  As each TAMP is unique with operational and legal processes, and this role will help navigate serving mutual advisors with internal and external operations and analysis teams. 


 

Pay Range:

$79,125-$131,875/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
