Currently, LaunchSquad is growing. We are looking for a Talent Specialist to join our people operations team to help us recruit and retain talent. LaunchSquad is working remotely. This opportunity is a fully remote or hybrid role based on candidate preferences.
 
The Talent Specialist will be a key member of the people operations team. They will work directly with LaunchSquad’s senior team on talent acquisition and retention. The Talent Specialist will take responsibility for driving recruitment efforts for specific talent demographics from concept to completion, including making hiring decisions. They will also contribute to onboarding new hires and supporting their needs throughout year one.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with senior team to understand hiring needs, write job descriptions, source candidates and fill openings
  • Build a comprehensive pipeline of passive and active candidates
  • Manage the recruitment lifecycle from identifying hiring needs to onboarding new hires
  • Coordinate training and development for new hires and specific cohorts
  • Build out ATS capabilities and best practices
  • Play a key role in university recruitment and selection annually
  • Track and report hiring statistics across requisitions
  • Ensure company recruitment policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with federal and state employment laws

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience; some tech startup or communications agency experience preferred
  • Top-notch interview skills
  • Ability to provide a consistent interview experience and make informed candidate decisions
  • Excellent organization and project management skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Flexibility to work on a team or independently and deliver results consistently
