Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for posting open job positions and completing initial screening of applicants. Performs various administrative functions to provide support to a department or plant.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Posts jobs in Workday applicant tracking system and identifies and posts jobs on other job search websites
- Works with hiring managers to customize job duties and requirements to fit the needs of each department plant
- Works to reduce over time by assisting management in staffing all shifts adequately
- Assists management in improving retention rates and decreasing costly turnover by identifying and recruiting the best possible candidates for the positions available
- Identifies resources to advertise open positions
- Schedules and organizes interviews with suitable candidates
- Provides necessary documents, job descriptions, screening tests and interview questions for hiring managers
- Communicates requirements and duties to prospective candidates
- Conducts screening of eligible candidates
- Maintains clear communication with candidates and employees
- Keeps records of candidate interviews and reports them to hiring managers
- Coordinates and participates at recruiting events i.e., local career fairs, networking events, etc.
- Maintains internal Workday database for plant-specific requisitions
- Identifies, researches, and resolves administrative problems and opportunities
- Troubleshoots any problems within area of responsibility
- Assists with Human Resources tasks
- Prepares reports as requested by management
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma with experience in recruiting administration
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in recruiting administration however, 3 to 5 years is preferred
- Working knowledge of online applicant tracking programs. Knowledge of Workday ATS is a plus
- Working knowledge of compliance related to EEO, FLSA classification, and affirmative action
- Working knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer and business-related software, including Microsoft applications Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of various office equipment including computers, scanners, etc.
