The engineer is responsible for defining, performing, and documenting test plans for robotic platforms in our Autonomous Mobile Robot. They will work as part of an inter-disciplinary team to ensure that requirements are met, and architectures are successfully implemented. This is an onsite role in our Lowell office.

Your Responsibilities:
- Support the development and maintenance of systems test plans for autonomous mobile robots, including developing procedures, and defining metrics for pass/fail criteria.
- Support the technical and logistical planning of systems tests including cross-functional coordination.
- Lead the execution of systems test plans, reporting results and escalating issues/bugs.
- Complete detailed documentation of testing processes and results.
- Troubleshoot and debug simple issues in the field, and trace failures to correct subsystems.
- File detailed bug reports and coordinate with hardware and software teams to resolve them.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and results.
- Design, develop, and operate test equipment and instrumentation systems.
- Provide detailed feedback to engineering team on the automated system performance.
- Perform other duties, support special projects and tasks as assigned.
Your Skills and Experience
- BS in Systems, Electrical, Computer science, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in robotics, automotive, or aerospace industry.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects; requires good time management, prioritization, and organizational skills to meet stringent deadlines.
- Experience with requirement and test traceability tools (e.g. Test Rail)
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and hands-on experience with debugging software systems.
- Familiarity with using Linux OS.
- Issues management - JIRA, Agile, Scrum
