Job Summary
As part of the SoftBank Group, Graphcore is a member of an elite family of companies responsible for some of the world’s most transformative technologies.We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Schedule Project Manager to lead integrated planning and program execution across our Data Center Engineering organization. You will align technical milestones, manage interdependencies, and support capital planning for advanced AI and HPC compute infrastructure, serving as the central coordination point across engineering, operations, supply chain, and finance.
The TeamThe Data Center Engineering and Systems Engineering teams design, build, and operate high-performance AI systems supporting internal and customer environments. The team spans server and rack-level systems, networking, storage, system management, and data center infrastructure.
Responsibilities and Duties- Drive program initiation and structure in ambiguous environments; launch and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Build and maintain integrated schedules across engineering, procurement, lab buildouts, and deployment.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and critical paths; develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Drive execution, establish milestones, and ensure timely delivery through strong stakeholder alignment.
- Act as central coordination and escalation point across engineering, operations, and leadership.
- Partner with technical teams to track infrastructure deliverables and readiness milestones.
- Define and improve program management processes, cadences, and governance.
- Align financial planning with schedules; track capital expenditures and variances.
- Deliver executive-level reporting, dashboards, and clear communication.
Candidate ProfileEssential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience managing complex technical programs and integrated schedules.
- Strong proficiency with program management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, Confluence).
- Ability to drive alignment and decision-making across senior stakeholders.
- Understanding of technical development lifecycles in AI, HPC, or data center infrastructure.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Desirable:
- PMP or equivalent certification.
- Experience with data center infrastructure, hardware deployment, or lab buildouts.
- Experience managing schedules tied to capital procurement and hardware lifecycle.
- Familiarity with financial planning and capital forecasting.
- Experience building executive dashboards and program governance structures.
